Rasnat Chowdhury
Rasnat Chowdhury (she/her) is a first-year doctoral student at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work. She holds a Master of Social Work Degree from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Arts Psychology Degree from York University, and a Social Service Worker Diploma from Humber College. Rasnat has worked in various social service settings, such as child welfare, education, and residential. Currently, Rasnat works at the Youth Wellness Lab as a Research Assistant (RA) supporting projects related to child welfare and family violence. She is also an RA at Mount Saint Vincent University, examining access to post-secondary education for former youth in care. Her research interests are focused on child welfare, family violence, and their intersection.
