FIFSW Equity Student Conference: Call for proposals

(In)Equities in Access: Social Work and the Social Determinants of Health

The Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion team invites MSW and Phd students at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work to submit poster, presentation, workshop, and art proposals for our first ever equity student conference.

Proposals related to the impact of the social determinants of health on social work practice, and the populations we work with are welcome!

Social Determinants of Health include, but are not limited to: income and social status; employment and working conditions; education and literacy; childhood experiences; built environments; social supports and coping skills; behaviours; access to health services, etc. We also recommend that you incorporate multicultural practice, cultural sensitivity, and intersectionality into your proposals.
