COVID-19 impact on summer practicums | March 20, 2020
To all summer practicum students and field instructors,
Thank you for your patience during this time of heightened concern. The FIFSW is doing its utmost to support students and field instructors to continue educational programs in the best way possible while fulfilling our obligation to wise practice in public health and safety.
We know you are keen to set up your interviews with your summer practicum sites. For the time being, we are advising that all interviews be completed over the phone or on skype to ensure proper social distancing is followed. You and your field instructor may also opt to wait and meet in person at a later date.
We are monitoring the situation, and will continue to provide updates as they become available. You may also refer to the COVID-19 Updates page of the FIFSW website.
