Description of the practicum site and student activities:
Social Work covering Birthing Unit, Mother Baby Unit, Paediatric Unit, NICU
Provide support. Assess patients and families for any issues relating to care, conflict, mental health, psycho social concerns.
Provide outpatient appointments for antenatal patients.
Provide support to patients experiencing a loss.
Work within a multidisciplinary team.
