Description of the practicum site and student activities:

Provide psychotherapy to individuals (adolescents and adults), couples and families experiencing a wide range of mental health concerns, relational difficulties, and intrapersonal challenges

Does your practicum require any previous experience?

(If yes, please specify.)

Experience in providing peer support, delivering mental health services (e.g. support group co-facilitator, crisis line operator, etc.) and/or lived experience with therapy.

Is this practicum in-person, remote or hybrid?

Hybrid- Student must have access to quiet, confidential space with adequate office setup including a webcam and reliable internet connection. Student must also have consistent availability for in-person/in-office work.

Will this practicum involve direct work or a mix of direct and indirect?

Mix- a balance of direct clinical hours providing counselling to clients as well as program development

The office has an operating elevator and washrooms on the same floor. The hallways and doorways may not be wide enough for some wheelchairs.
