Frequently Asked Questions
Regrettably, the FIFSW does not offer any application fee waivers.
When and if you decide to apply, you do not have to contact any potential supervisor. If admitted, you are assigned a faculty advisor for the first year, and you will select a supervisor at the end of First Year. To get an idea of our current faculty and their areas of research, please check our faculty listing posted at: https://socialwork.utoronto.ca/faculty-research-directory/
The PhD program is only available on a full-time basis. PhD students are expected to attend classes in person in Toronto for at least the first two years of their PhD studies.
Our PhD Program is only available at the St. George Campus
We have a PhD Student Ambassador who you can contact: https://fifsw.peerpal.app/
