Project 1: Amplifying 2SLGBTQIA+ Voices Intergenerationally to Shape Community Programming and Community-Engaged Research in the Greater Sudbury Area

  • Purpose: To explore assets, needs, and research priorities of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities in the Greater Sudbury Area.
  • Partners: Public Health Sudbury & Districts; Sudbury Youth Wellness Hub; Sudbury Queers United Around Diversity; Wahnapitae First Nation; Women’s Age Lab; Laurentian University; Wilfrid Laurier University; University of Guelph

Project 2: Community-Engaged Mapping of Research Priorities for Diverse 2SLGBTQIA+ Youth in the Waterloo Region

  • Purpose: To explore 2SLGBTQIA+ youth’s (ages 14-18) strengths, resources, supports, and research priorities that support their wellbeing in the Waterloo Region.
  • Partners: Camino Wellbeing + Mental Health; Spectrum; Children and Youth Planning Table of Waterloo Region; Woolwich Pride; Wilfrid Laurier University; University of Waterloo

Project 3: Advancing Culturally Responsive Policies on LGBTIQ Inclusion and Human Rights in Vietnam

  • Purpose: To explore contextually relevant metrics on LGBTIQ inclusion in Vietnam through a community-engaged scoping review.
