Vulnerable Sector Check Application Process
For students residing in Toronto.
Please follow the steps below to apply for a Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC) with the Toronto Police Services:
- In order to qualify for the discounted student rate, students must apply using the following code: 202310TPSON156ED
- Register for an Adult Police Record Check Account on the Toronto Police Services (TPS) website
- Using the code, complete the Vulnerable Sector Check application online via the TPS website
As of October 26, 2023, the rate for a VSC for Unpaid Student Placements is $26.72.
For students residing outside of Toronto
Each jurisdiction will inform students of its application process. If needed, the Practicum Office will provide students with written confirmation of their enrollment in the MSW program.
