FIFSW Internal Awards

The Faculty’s Internal Award application period does not open until the beginning of the Fall Session. Learn more about conditions of the award and application procedures.

There are a number of award categories available for registered students, for example, the Diversity Based awards.

FIFSW Tuition Fee Bursaries

To be awarded to MSW students enrolled full-time in either the first or second year of the Indigenous Trauma and Resiliency specialization, who demonstrate financial need.

Applicants must be already accepted into the MSW Program at the time of application and must maintain full-time registration status throughout the academic year.

Bursaries are open to eligible Canadian Citizens and international students. Demonstration of financial need is required.

Students will be expected to budget accordingly to meet their financial needs through employment, OSAP, Band Funding, and any other resources available to them. These bursaries have been established to address unmet need up to a maximum of $5,000 each. The bursary will be paid directly to student tuition.
