Athletics and Recreation
Registered UofT students paying compulsory athletic incidental fees are automatically members of the Athletic Centre, Hart House and the Varsity Centre (conveniently located across the street from the FIFSW). This includes part-time and full-time undergraduate and graduate students.
The Graduate Students’ Union offers a number of SGS Intramurals and Leagues. Visit the University of Toronto Graduate Students’ Union website for further details.
For students closer to the University’s other campuses, UTM’s Recreation, Athletics, and Wellness Centre (RAWC) and UTSC’s Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre are also available to use.
All three campuses provide intramural sports. U of T students also get into regular season Varsity Blues games for FREE with a valid T-card. Cheer on the Blues! See game schedules(external link).
Student Summer Membership
Note that as graduate students are exempt from paying fees for the summer, memberships for all the athletics facilities are suspended May-August, regardless of whether you are enrolled in courses. Each facility will have their own summer membership that you can enrol into for additional fees. Graduate students may be eligible for the SGS Gym Bursary.
