Simulation Learning
Simulation based learning and assessment is a powerful pedagogy for social work. Based on a long-standing program of research at FIFSW, we have demonstrated the benefits of using simulation to develop holistic competence for social workers. Students and instructors are enthusiastic about the approach.
Simulation is the signature pedagogy of the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work. Since 2010 we have embedded simulation in the MSW Program and developed the Toronto Simulation Model.
