Summer 2021

PLEASE NOTE: If a lecture section is full, in many cases, you may have the option on ACORN to add yourself to the waitlist – this is a virtual “line up” to reserve your space in a course should one become available. If you are next on the waiting list, you will be enrolled automatically into the lecture.  Enrolment from a waitlist is not guaranteed.  Note, that If a space does not open for you from a waiting list by the final date to add a course in either the Fall/Winter or Summer sessions, and you need this course for your Field of Study, you will need to enroll in the course in the academic session that it is next offered.  It is important therefore to plan your schedule accordingly to avoid disappointment or interruptions to your progression through the program.

(Last updated April 19, 2021)

The following timetable indicates the planned mode of online course delivery using the following codes:

FA: Fully asynchronous (course has no scheduled virtual class time slot as it is completely web-based).

S: Fully synchronous or a mixture of synchronous/asynchronous (course has a scheduled virtual class time slot that will include at least some live virtual class time over an online meeting platform).

All required courses in each MSW Field of Study are offered each year, although the session in which a given course is offered may vary from year to year. Individual elective courses are offered based on instructor availability and may not be offered each year.

All courses are subject to sufficient enrollment. Click on Course Number for Course Description. Click on Instructor for Instructor’s Bio.

Ontario’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic continues to evolve. Changes will likely occur as the province and its municipalities adjust to new data about the virus. In these circumstances, please be advised that the manner of delivery of courses, co-curricular opportunities, programs, and services is subject to change, in accordance with university policies. The University thanks its students, faculty, and staff for their flexibility during these challenging times as we work together to maintain the standards of excellence that are the hallmark of the University.
