New faces at FIFSW: Introducing Mai King, Assistant Dean, Student Services & Registrar
Categories: StaffWe are delighted to welcome Mai King the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work. Mai joined FIFSW as Assistant Dean, Student Services & Registrar on October 24.
Mai is an enthusiastic advocate of lifelong learning with over 20 years of higher education experience supporting students in awards, financial aid, registrarial and student services. A U of T graduate, Mai holds a Bachelor of Physical Education and Health from Faculty of Kinesiology and Physical Education. She joins us from Rotman School of Management, where she spent over 14 years working with students in various roles, including, most recently, as Acting Director, Academic Services and Registrar.
As Assistant Dean, Registrar and Student Services, Mai is responsible for supporting MSW and PhD students from application to graduation in the areas of registration, course enrolments, program progression, student finances, and student life.
A self-professed Excel and process nerd, Mai loves engaging others in generating new ideas and creative solutions to maximize efficiencies while keeping the students’ best interest a priority. Outside of work, you can find her indulging in arts, crafts, food, coffee and wine with her family.
