Ian Mahoney

Ian Mahoney is a doctoral student at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work. He also completed his Master of Social Work and Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Toronto. Prior to social work, Ian worked as a prosecutor; he holds a law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School.

His research interests centre on the use of modern quantitative methods to inform evidence-based practice. He is a recipient of the Ontario Graduate Scholarship and has co-authored work on recovery factors following a suicide attempt.
