Location:  Virtual clinic, with in-person potential opportunities within Mississauga, Oakville, Milton and surrounding areas

Description of the practicum site and student activities:
Thriving Family Co. – is a primarily virtual group practice with a focus on serving Ontario families in the early years of growing a family. Specifically, we support parents with infant and toddler sleep consultations from an attachment/responsive parenting lens along with perinatal mental health – mostly with mothers/primary caregiver – around postpartum depression, postpartum anxiety, triggers from childhood trauma that surface as a parent, emotional regulation. We also specialize in providing holistic support for fussy babies and babies experiencing reflux.
An additional area of focus is supporting neurodivergent families and offering ADHD adapted therapy for individuals and couples, parenting coaching for children (including neurodivergent children).
Services offered include individual, couple and group therapy, fertility support, occupational therapy support for sensory processing differences and more.
