Description of the practicum site and student activities:
Virtual student including mental health marketing, updating forms and policies, applying for grants,
opportunity for sitting in on sessions with therapist and client for learning purposes.
Practicum Requirements:

☐ Police Reference/Vulnerable Sector Check

☐ Travel by public transportation between home visits, or satellite offices, or community meetings, etc.

Other requirements:
Must have own office space that is sound proof and offers privacy as this is a virtual position.
Bilingualism in French considered an asset.
Must have a strong ability to work independently as needed, able to attend weekly group supervision
meetings, weekly individual student supervision meeting, and an engaging personality for clients virtually.
Does your practicum require any previous experience?
Knowledge of relational therapeutic modalities, including EFT, Narrative, EMDR, Play Therapy, etc.
Is this practicum in-person, remote or hybrid?
Remote (virtual). Please note that while the organization is located in New Brunswick, the successful applicant will operate on a standard schedule in Eastern time.
Will this practicum involve direct work or a mix of direct and indirect?
This will be a mix of direct and indirect work.

- Are there breaks between clients/patients/meetings? There is not always breaks between sessions.

- Is there a high noise level in the practicum? It is virtual, so noise level can be controlled to your preference.
- Is the site wheelchair accessible? N/A
- What are the physical demands of the practicum? The emotional toll of learning (and hearing) from
experiences of trauma and how to best meet an individual clients needs. - Are there any other accessibility considerations that potential applicants with disabilities should be
