Biography: 

Dr. Terry Cheng holds the position of Clinical Scientist/PhD Social Work at the Department of Supportive Care, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, University Health Network, in Toronto. She has over 30 years of clinical experience working in various settings including oncology, domestic violence, childhood trauma survivors, homeless men shelter, addictions, community family services, and employee assistance program. She has worked with individuals, couples and families as well as facilitated support groups. Dr. Cheng is also a trained Marital and Family Therapist. She was a Filed Instructor providing clinical/research placements to MSW students at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work.

Dr. Cheng has interests in cross-cultural and cross-language breast cancer research, and has publications in the areas of breast cancer survivorship, male partners of women living with breast cancer, distress screening, and brief online psychosocial interventions.
