Janet Morrison

Janet has a Masters degree in Political Science and a Masters degree in Psychology and completed her psychoanalytic training at the Toronto Child Psychoanalytic Program. She is a Psychological Associate in private practice providing assessments and psychotherapy for children, adolescents and adults. Child welfare has been a particular interest of hers. She has done a great deal of counseling work to reconnect children with their families of origin. Janet is the past president of the Canadian Association of Psychoanalytic Child Therapists. Recent research projects include a study of school-based treatment for maltreated children and an investigation of family visits for Crown wards, both in collaboration with FIFSW.
