Description of the practicum site and student activities:
JACS Toronto is a community-based mental health and addictions organization where practicum students facilitate individual and group sessions, complete intakes and documentation, participate in supervision, support program development, and engage in community outreach.
Practicum Requirements:
☒ Police Reference/Vulnerable Sector Check
☒ Driver’s License
☒ Use of Own Car
☒ Comfort working with the population being served
☒ Comprehensive report writing and documentation
☒ Evening attendance
☒ Weekend attendance
Other requirements: Cultural competency for supporting clients from the Jewish community.
