Inner Voice Therapy
Location:
55 Village Centre Place, Building 28, Unit 207, Mississauga
Description of the practicum site and student activities:
- Students are expected to see 4-5 clients per week (in person and virtual)
- Create resources for clients.
- Write a blog per week (300-500 words).
- Organize workshops and seminars in the community
- Co-facilitate a DBT skills group
- Contribute ideas for improving client care or operational efficiency, which can lead to innovative practices and better outcomes.
Practicum Requirements:
☒ Police Reference/Vulnerable Sector Check
☒ Driver’s License
☒ Use of Own Car
☒ Travel by public transportation between home visits, or satellite offices, or community meetings, etc.
☒ Comfort working with the population being served
☒ Comprehensive report writing and documentation
☒ Evening attendance
☒ Language (specify in field below)

Arabic, Spanish, Urdu/Hindi/Punjabi, or Mandarin
Does your practicum require any previous experience?
Previous clinical experience working with individuals with mental health
The person must have knowledge, training and experience in using CBT.
