Our practicum would ideally be in person or a hybrid opportunity, given that most of our client sessions take place in person, however we are happy to provide activities that can be completed remotely, such as social media support, blog posts, completing client notes, support planning/facilitating events or workshops etc.

Our practice is run through the Jane App, and we also utilize Google Meet, and Zoom to conduct meetings and supervision sessions. A company email address would be provided for the duration of the practicum for secure communication purposes.

I would love to maintain frequent meetings and connections with the student with myself and potentially other therapists on the team as a potential learning opportunity for the student.

All necessary resources, as well as trainings available on our database would be available to the student as well.

Clients:

I will connect with the student regarding their comfort zone, as well as let clients know that this is a student program re: expectations. I will promote services with the student as a student program – likely offering as a more financially accessible route for therapy. I will recruit clients for the student through my website, as well as social media marketing.

Observation / Shadowing:

I will meet with the student weekly to offer supervision sessions and to stay up to date on the needs of the clients, as well as the students approach. I have a virtual link to sessions, that with the consent of clients and the student, I am able to utilize as an additional form of supervision/observation. I am quite responsive as a supervisor and will provide the student with my direct contact information.
