Supporting Youth with Early Psychosis: Engagement, education, recovery and harm reduction

Amar Ghelani a registered social worker, PhD Candidate, and instructor with the Wilfrid Laurier University Faculty of Social Work. He is also a social worker with the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). He has 17 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and groups with complex mental health concerns in outpatient, addiction treatment, prison, shelter, school, mobile crisis, and healthcare settings. His research focuses on cannabis use, psychosis, trauma, crisis intervention, harm reduction, and recovery.
