Lunch & Learn: Medical Assistance in Dying (MAID) & Social Work

A discussion on the provision of MAID since the passing of legislation in Canada on June 17, 2016 and subsequent evolution of the legislation.
Using the experiences of University Health Network as a base for discussion while highlighting the key areas where Social Work’s provision of care may align with MAID, the session will reflect on the intersection points for personal values and professional obligations.
