ILCA Seminar: What is Successful Aging?
October 8 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
What does it mean to age successfully? Drawing on perspectives from everyday Canadians and insights from gerontology research, we develop a unified definition of successful aging. Using national data, we identify practical, modifiable lifestyle factors that can help Canadians age well and maintain health and well-being across the life course.
Mabel Ho, PhD, MSW, RSW is a postdoctoral fellow and research affiliate at the Institute for Life Course & Aging, Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto.
