Guest speaker, Trish Lenz: Canadian Social Work History

Trish Lenz is a PhD candidate and Course Instructor at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto. Her current research interest in transformational social innovation, local government and nonprofit organizational relations aims to contribute to practical work to redistribute social power, decision-making authority and resources to historically marginalized groups.  She is also a public servant at the City of Toronto, responsible for managing a team of staff currently undertaking transformational systems-level work in the housing and homelessness sector. Trish has been privileged to work for and advocate with people experiencing homelessness and housing instability for over a decade.
