Jessica Furtado (she/her) is a PhD Candidate in the interdisciplinary program of Family Relations and Human Development at the University of Guelph. Jessica is a Registered Social Worker (RSW, MSW) and Registered Early Childhood Educator with a range of experiences of working with children, youth, and families, particularly in community mental health. Her research has centred around child and family experiences of resilience and posttraumatic growth following adversity, including grief.
