On March 24, 2014 the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work is hosting a ‘Community Dialogues’forum to engage students, alumni and practitioners to discuss strategies for policy practice in our globalized world.

This forum will include interactive displays on Social Work Responses to the following topics:

Living Wages Today!

Bringing Home Mom & Dad? Canadian Immigration Policies Restricting Family Reunification

Human Trafficking through the Lens of Postcolonialism

Adequate Housing: A Human Right

Impact of Settler/Colonial and Racist Dynamics across the Health and Education Sector

Please join us for a “World Cafe” gathering, to discuss strategies for local, regional, national and global policy advocacy and community mobilization.
