Zack Marshall is a social worker and a PhD candidate in the Division of Community Health and Humanities at Memorial University. He has 12 years of practice and consultation experience in community health and mental health. In particular he has worked with young people and their families, and has strengths in clinical supervision. Building on his professional and personal experiences, his research program examines issues related to ethics, engagement, and knowledge mobilization with respect to marginalized or underrepresented communities. Supported by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the Canadian Mental Health Association-NL, his doctoral research incorporates knowledge synthesis and ethical analysis to identify opportunities for more responsible research.
