Luke Stark is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Department of Sociology at Dartmouth College. His work explores the historical, technical and social implications of human emotion’s digital expression; emotion’s quantification and operationalization within computing and information systems; and the broader connections between emotion, digital media design, and human values such as privacy. He holds a PhD in Media, Culture, and Communication from New York University, and both an MA and Honours BA from the University of Toronto.
