Black Joy, Black Liberation

The BSWSA at the University of Toronto’s Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work would like to invite you to an arts-based workshop that will focus on Black joy and Black liberation. Emilie Jabouin will lead this workshop by using sound and movement as processes for tapping into the Back body experience. Emilie is a dance artist and Ph.D. Candidate in Communication and Culture at the Toronto Metropolitan University. Emilie’s work focuses on bridging the gap between research and performance to support Black healing.
