This course focuses on the concept of ‘story’: what are the stories individuals, communities, agencies, power structures, and policies tell? How do these stories empower or disempower? Limit or expand? Congruent with the FIFSW’s mission, this course will empower you to help your current and future clients disrupt limiting narratives and create healing stories in their place. Building on empirical research, clinical demonstrations, your prior coursework, and your own clinical and lived experience, you will learn how to use narrative therapy to address social inequities.
