FIFSW invites you to join Shades of our Sisters to honour MMIWG2S+

Join FIFSW for Shades of Our Sisters, an exhibit and online experience created by families of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women to honour their loved ones and highlight the impact of their loss. It invites participants into the grief, love, and memories of these families, urging Canadians to recognize the injustice of this national tragedy.
When: February 3, 2025, from 12:00 to 1:30pm
Where: FIFSW – 3rd Floor Student Lounge (246 Bloor Street West)
Details: Joyce Carpenter, Founder of Shads of Our Sisters and mother of the late Patricia Carpenter, will speak and share Patricia’s story, followed by a short film about Patricia’s life. This event commemorates FIFSW and Shades of Our Sisters new partnership.
Light refreshments will be provided.
