Season 2 of 30@8:30 premiers on Wednesday, August 26 at 8:30pm on Instagram Live.

Presented by The Centre for Research & Innovation for Black Survivors of Homicide Victims (The CRIB), 30@8:30 is a weekly series that investigates structural violence and COVID-19’s impact on vulnerable populations throughout our global community. The series is hosted by Dr. Tanya L. Sharpe, an associate professor at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work. Past episodes can be found on The CRIB’s website here.

Season 2 of 30@8:30 welcomes new speakers, providing new perspectives and insight on the relationship between COVID-19 and structural violence, mental health, homicide and systemic racism.
