Building Inclusive Excellence

Our ongoing efforts to foster equity, diversity, inclusion, and accessibility are collaborative and ever evolving. Staff and faculty across all offices work together with students, partners, and alumni to advance FIFSW’s EDI goals.

Truth & Reconciliation

FIFSW’s work towards Truth and Reconciliation is essential to our mission, guided by the University of Toronto’s 34 Calls to Action and rooted in the seven core professional values outlined in the Canadian Association of Social Work’s Code of Ethics, Values, and Guiding Principles.

FIFSW’s 2025-2030 Academic Plan to launch in September!

This past year, FIFSW engaged in extensive consultations with faculty, students, staff, alumni and partners to develop its next five-year academic plan: Leading Transformative Change Through Innovation, Education and Collaboration. This plan builds on our strengths, responds to the challenges and opportunities ahead, and addresses the evolving needs of the communities we serve. We are excited to share it with our community in September!
