Function:
As Student Engagement Coordinator, Raaz Pourfazli is responsible for planning events and student engagement activities, as well as managing logistics. If you’re looking to organize a student event, Raaz is your go-to person.
Raaz is an artist and designer with a keen interest in printmaking and letterpress. She holds an MA in Contemporary Art History from Ontario College of Art & Design University (OCAD) and a BFA in Graphic Design from Tehran, Iran, where she worked for many years as a writer and designer. While at OCAD, Raaz served as a Guest Lecturer and Tutorial Leader for various Art History courses. Currently, she is an artist-in-residence at Open Studio and a work-trade volunteer at the Bibliography Room at Massey College. In her free time, Raaz enjoys swimming, spending time with friends, and hanging out with her cat, Shekar.
