Mabel Ho received her PhD and MSW degrees from the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work at the University of Toronto. After working with older adults, particularly stroke survivors, people living with dementia, Parkinson’s disease and other chronic diseases, and their families for over 20 years, Mabel realizes that it is important to support people to engage in an active and healthy lifestyle as early as possible so that more people can live and age well in later life. Her research and practice interest focuses on the health and well-being of older adults.
Mabel is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Bruyère Health Research Institute and a Research Affiliate of the Institute of Life Course and Aging at the University of Toronto’s Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work.
