Prof. Micheal Shier receives NAGS Doctoral Dissertation Award

Professor Micheal Shier is the recipient of the Northeastern Association of Graduate Schools Doctoral Dissertation Award.

Each year the Northeastern Association of Graduate Schools recognizes an outstanding dissertation that has been produced by a Ph.D. candidate at one of its member institutions. A doctoral dissertation in the area of Social Sciences and Education is being awarded for 2016 according to the NAGS web site. Nominees must have received the doctoral degree within five years preceding the year of competition.
