Migrant Mothers Project research findings highlighted in the Toronto Star

The FIFSW Migrant Mothers Project called on the Federal Government of Canada for the Repeal of Conditional Permanent Residence for newly sponsored spouses and partners in Canada.

The pending changes, to be announced in the coming months, are welcome news to Professor Rupaleem Bhuyan, who co-authored the study, Spousal Sponsorship and Conditional Permanent Residence, a collaborative effort with community groups across Canada.
