Unlocking Leadership Potential: Key Leadership Competencies for Social Workers

Amina Hussain is a social worker and doctoral candidate at the University of Toronto. Her dissertation is informed by 13 years of experience in mental health care and a passion towards enhancing social work  leadership skills in health and mental health settings.  Amina has been actively involved at the University, mentoring students as a course instructor, a clinical supervisor at the Talk It Out Counselling Clinic, and through co-founding the Muslim Human Service Alliance. She has received two SSHRC grants to support her research and leadership endeavours.
