The Dangers of Storytelling

MSW and PhD social work students, educators, community workers, community-based artists, youth, futurists, and narrative scholars are all welcome.

The Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work PhD Students Association is proud to present narratologist, writer and senior marketing communications specialist Ms. Jay Pitter.

From theory to community engagement, Jay’s talk and group discussion will uncover the dangers of storytelling. This interactive event is sure to be of interest – and benefit! – to MSW and PhD students alike.  Participants will also be provided with a checklist for honouring and harnessing the power of stories.
