Speaker: Dr. Keith Adamson, RSW
Description: This keynote address presents an opportunity to describe what racism is, and what racism looks like in Canada. Dr. Keith Adamson will discuss the impact of racism on people of colour and will use this presentation to implore social workers and social service workers to take steps towards starting to remedy and promote healing within their own practice and the communities and clients they serve. Keith will share his thoughts around advocacy and what social workers and social service workers can do in order to address racism at all levels.
