Inwook Kwon (he/him) is a doctoral student at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work. He studies immigration through the lens of social policy and the welfare state. He is primarily interested in the social integration of immigrant populations, particularly their use of social services and the impact of social policy on their lived experiences. His research interests also include attitudes towards immigration/immigrants and, in particular, the correlation between immigration attitudes and public support for the welfare state. He embraces a variety of quantitative and qualitative research methods in his published works, including multi-level regression analysis, structural equation models, framework analysis.
