Susan Blacker, MSW, RSW has more than 20 years of experience as a clinical social worker, educator and leader in the field of cancer and palliative care. She is the Senior Director, Cancer and Palliative Program Planning and Performance at Sinai Health System in Toronto, Ontario. In April 2018, Susan was also appointed the Provincial Clinical Co-Lead position for the Ontario Palliative Care Network. She previously held the positions of regional Psychosocial Oncology lead with the Toronto Central Regional Cancer Program/Cancer Care Ontario and was clinical co-lead for the Toronto Central Palliative Care Network.
Susan holds an appointment as Adjunct Professor in the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work and is as Lecturer (status only) and the Quality Co-Lead for the Division of Palliative Care in the Faculty of Medicine at University of Toronto.
