Charlene Cook is Manager, Research, Public Policy and Evaluation at United Way Toronto. She
completed her Ph.D. in social work at the University of Toronto in 2009. Charlene has also worked for
the Canadian, Ontario and Manitoba governments in policy and research capacities.
Her research and policy work has focused on the social determinants of health, youth, intervention research and evaluation, and the third sector.
Charlene is an Assistant Professor (Status-Only) and a Field Instructor at the Factor-lnwentash Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto.
