Terry Gardiner

Terry Gardiner is a Social Worker whose work has focused on community building and equity in post-secondary institutions. He has supported policy and strategy development, program design and implementation and provided direct service to students, faculty and staff.

Currently Terry is the Director, Student Programs at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law. In this role he leads a team that includes the Student Mental Health, Student Programs and Indigenous Initiatives portfolios. He has been the Manager, Diversity Equity & Student Experience at the Factor-Inwentash Faculty of Social Work and the Assistant Manager, Co-Curricular Diversity & Equity at the Faculty of Kinesiology & Physical Education. He serves as the chair of the Hart House Board of Stewards and is a board member of performing arts organization Citadel + Compagnie.

He is also an Early Childhood Educator and has taught in undergraduate programs and in early childhood environments.
