Megan McCormick
Megan McCormick is currently an Advanced Practice Clinical Leader at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. In this position she provides practice support, supervision, and education to staff and students. Much of her work involves program design and implementation with a focus on improving access to quality innovative Mental Health and Addictions services.
Megan has over 20 years experience in direct clinical work, clinical supervision, and social work leadership in the UK, Australia, and Canada. She has practiced in a variety of settings including psychiatric inpatient services, community mental health, acute care/emergency department, and mental health/addictions outpatient services.
Megan has a special interest in student learning, and has collaborated on several publications with the faculty with a focus on enhancing social work students’ competence in assessment of mental health, addictions, and suicide.
