Third-year FIFSW PhD student Shen (Lamson) Lin has received a travel award to present at the Canadian Public Health Association (CPHA) Annual Conference in Winnipeg, April 28-30, 2020.
The award is funded by the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) Institute of Population and Public Health (IPPH). Twelve recipients, receiving $1,500 each, were selected.
Lin’s winning abstract — on which his presentation will be based — is entitled “Stroke Symptoms among the stroke-free older adults in the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Ageing (CLSA): immigration, nutrition and implication for stroke prevention”.
