MSW student Jan A. Wozniak shortlisted for the 2025 CBC Poetry Prize

FIFSW Master of Social Work student Jan A. Wozniak has made the 2025 CBC Poetry Prize shortlist for his poem Memory Palace of the One-Track Oracle.

Six submissions were selected for the shortlist from more than 3,200 submissions. The winner will be announced on Nov. 19th.

Jan A. Wozniak is an autistic writer, disability advocate, therapist and clinical scholar based in Toronto. He is currently completing his Master of Social Work at the Factor-Inwentash School of Social Work at the University of Toronto and serves as a Program Engagement Co-Facilitator and Researcher at the Azrieli Adult Neurodevelopmental Centre (CAMH).

Prior to this, Jan completed undergraduate and graduate studies at Toronto Metropolitan University. His works have been published in a number of academic and literary journals, including Autism, Autism in Adulthood, Intersect, JIRIRI, Ought, Spectrum and the Canadian Journal of Autism Equity, among others
