Registration not necessary. \n  \nRebecca Martell\, CACII\, RCS\nOf Indigenous ancestry\, Ms. Martell is a member of Sîkîp Sâkahikan First Nation. Certified in the field of addictions\, she\nhas utilized a traditional model of learning to facilitate First Nation wellness in Canada and the United States for the\npast 40 years. As a Clinical Associate with the Occupational Performance Analysis Unit (OPAU)\, Department of\nOccupational Therapy\, University of Alberta (1996 to present)\, Rebecca also collaborates on a variety of First Nation\nhealth projects. \nBrianna Olson\, BSW is a social worker\, diverse multi-media artist\, Anishinaabekwe and proud member of\nWikwemikong Unceded First Nation. She has a strong sense of identity as a jingle dress dancer\, critical social worker\,\ncommunity organizer\, beadwork artist\, and emcee. Currently residing in Tkaronto (traditional Haudenosaunee name\nfor Toronto) she is completing her masters in social work; Indigenous Trauma and Resiliency field of study at the\nUniversity of Toronto. \nBrianna is an outspoken advocate for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women (MMIW) and issues of systemic\nviolence\, and actively endorses Indigenous liberation across Turtle Island and worldwide. She has received a Harm\nReduction award (Kaiser Foundation\, 2006)\, Top 100 women in business\, (Wanderer\, 2013)\, Esquao award (Institute for\nthe Advancement of Aboriginal women\, 2013)\, Top 30 under 30\, (Centre for Global cooperation/ 2014) and Human\nRights award (John Humphrey centre for Peace and Human rights\, 2015).

Williams\nHoda Samater\nRacquel Hamlet \n  \nCharmaine C. Williams\, PhD\, MSW\, RSW\, is an Associate Professor in Social Work and the Factor-Inwentash Chair in Health and Mental Health. Her research bridges practice and access and equity issues that affect various populations including racial minority women\, LGBTQ individuals in local and international context\, and individuals and families affected by serious and persistent mental illnesses. The majority of her practice experience has been in the mental health care system where she worked in inpatient and outpatient services\, providing interventions for individuals\, families and groups. \nHoda Samater\, MSW\, is an alumna of the FIFSW and the owner of Begin to Heal Counselling and Consulting Services. With 13 years of practice in mental health capacity building and harm reduction\, she is trained in short term crisis intervention\, long term case management counselling\, solution focused counselling and cognitive behavior therapy. She is pursuing a PhD at the University of Toronto in the Social Justice Education stream. She is interested in promoting traditional and religious healing strategies from a multifaceted systems perspective. \nRacquel Hamlet\, MSW\, RSW\, is Social Worker/Therapist at TAIBU Community Health Centre. She has worked in different settings in supporting racialized and marginalized communities. Racquel has vested interest in post partum depression as well as mental illness in the Black community. For the past two years\, Racquel has taught at Durham College in the science behind counselling people from diverse backgrounds with complex issues related to mental health\, employment and immigration.
