DESCRIPTION:The February 25th workshop is directed to both MSW Year 1 and Year 2 students. \n‘Money Matters’ – a full day training program for social work students who want to learn more about the maze of income replacement programs for clients who are too sick to work. The program will be led by expert staff from Wellspring Cancer Support Foundation. \nThe one-day training program will be offered on four different dates\, for your convenience\, with capacity for only 25 students at each workshop. Once you register\, it is your responsibility to immediately advise your field instructor. Field instructors will be advised that you may be contacting them to negotiate a workshop day for January 7\, February 25\, March 25 or April 13. \nEach workshop will take place from 9:00am-4:00pm in Room 348 (FIFSW). She has participated on community advisory committees for Ontario Disability Support Program\, Canada Pension Plan (Disability) and the Trillium Drug Program. Pamela has a Master’s Degree in Adult Education and Vocational Counselling\, and began her career as a vocational rehabilitation consultant with the insurance industry.
